You can’t write about Mclusky without an obligatory line asking why they weren’t more popular in their time. “Arming Eritrea” shows the same is true for Future of the Left — how is this song not perennially a candidate for one of the best rock songs on the last decade? Falco’s vocals on this early live version just slay, especially when he draws out “I’M AN ADUUUUULT!!” in that second verse. Laughing! Rocking!
